Materiality & Provenance

We exclusively source vegetable-tanned French calfskins and full-grain Italian leathers aged in natural chestnut tannins. The surface retains natural pore structure, developing a rich, nuanced patina over decades of ownership.

Each structural seam is hand-punched and saddle-stitched using waxed linen thread. Edges undergo a seven-step burnishing and lacquering procedure to resist moisture and prevent fraying.

All buckles, zips, and studs are cold-cast in solid brass, hand-buffed to a matte satin luster, and sealed with anti-tarnish micro-coatings.
